Mental Toughness

The pain-pleasure principle states that we are programmed to avoid pain and seek pleasure. To achieve our goals requires effort and commitment, which is not always easy. In fact, remaining committed to our goals during the tough times can feel painful. Our natural instinct would avoid this pain, meaning we would not achieve our goal.

In other words, we need to reverse the pain-pleasure principle. Moving towards the pain, to overcome the tough times and achieve success. This is the formula of mental toughness.

The Warrior Mindset, could be described as having a positive attitude about yourself, positive focus about your mission and demonstrating appropriate behaviour to back it up.

“Being a warrior is not about the act of fighting. It’s about being so prepared to face a challenge and believing so strongly in the cause you are fighting for that you refuse to quit,” Former US Navy Seal Richard Machowicz

To forge this mindset, NLP-based coaching techniques are combined with deep experience, and in certain circumstances Krav Maga techniques as a metaphor for overcoming challenges, which can be practically applied in your life to create positive transformation in management, communication and well-being. If you are serious about your personal development and goals, making use of a performance coach is one of the best investments you could make.

There is nearly always room for improvement in terms of optimizing your mindset: Building a strong healthy mind and determining your belief system which guide your behaviour on a subconscious level.  We all tend to have certain beliefs about ourselves. These can either be beliefs can either empower us or limiting beliefs which dis-empower us…The stories we tell ourselves about what we can and can’t do. What story do you tell yourself? The story you tell yourself could determine your self-belief.

You can rewrite your story for it to serve you. You have the power to change your limiting beliefs to beliefs which empower you.
